In 1999, Erwan Signe was an electrician. At age 20, he was wiring servers in private trading rooms in Geneva—Barings, Lombard Odier, Crédit Agricole, Barclays. A chance encounter with a French trader sent him to London, with no degree and no knowledge of English. There, he learned the professionals’ methods from the inside: Market Profile, Volume Profile, order book. In 2018, he founded Geneva Trade Center, then World Trading Skool, to make this approach accessible to French-speaking traders around the world.
Erwan Signe earned his CAP/BEP in electrical engineering. His world revolves around electricity, technical installations, and construction sites. This first apprenticeship instilled in him a quality that would serve him well throughout his career: meticulousness. When you work in the electrical field, you can’t cut corners.
At age 20, Erwan was already working in Geneva’s most prestigious trading floors—Baring Bank, Lombard Odier, Crédit Agricole, Gunvor, Bunge, and Barclays. He watched real professional traders at work, sitting in front of their 4-, 6-, and 8-monitor setups. Not through a training course or an online ad: from the inside, live, in real time. This highly structured world immediately fascinated him.
At Barclays Bank, Erwan ran into a French trader. He dared to ask: “How do you become a trader?” The answer was straightforward: “Go to London. That’s where it’s all happening.” That conversation planted a seed. If others had done it, why couldn’t he?
With no degree and no English, Erwan went to train at a London trading floor, a subsidiary of a major Asian bank. He was fired on his first day because of his English skills—only to be called back that same evening by the manager, who saw that he had the right attitude. “You don’t have the skills… but you have the right attitude. You’re staying.” He studied English in the mornings and the markets the rest of the time. That’s where he discovered and mastered Market Profile, Volume Profile, the order book, and order flow—the tools that Anglo-Saxon institutional investors use on a daily basis.
After years of practice and observation, Erwan noticed a near-total lack of serious training in French on institutional methods. He founded Geneva Trade Center with a clear goal: to make Market Profile and Volume Profile accessible to French-speaking independent traders. By 2024, he was managing three trading floors—in Paris, Geneva, and Sion—and mentoring over 3,000 people while overseeing 80 independent traders each month.
Today, WTS is a comprehensive training and support ecosystem focused on futures trading. Over 3,000 students have been trained, with lifetime access to the campus. Active learners in France, Belgium, Switzerland, Canada, Ivory Coast, Morocco, and far beyond. One approach: that of the professionals. One goal: to train traders who truly understand what they’re doing—not just those who follow a formula.
I teach students to understand the market like a professional: using the order book, Market Profile, Volume Profile, and order flow. No traditional indicators. No copy-and-paste strategies. I don’t want my students to blindly follow a method—I want them to understand what they’re doing, why they’re doing it, and when to act or stay on the sidelines.
A trader doesn’t just click because a signal appears. They understand the context, the price level, the market’s reaction, and the risk they’re taking. Analysis always comes before action.
A trader’s primary goal is not to make quick gains. It is to preserve capital, avoid costly mistakes, and build sustainable long-term growth.
I share the market logic I learned on the trading floor in London—it’s no magic formula. Trading requires discipline, patience, practice, and a clear framework.
My expertise doesn’t come from a traditional finance degree, but from hands-on experience: training in a professional trading room in London, daily practice, and teaching more than 3,000 students since 2018.
Understanding market structure through volume and value areas. The foundation of the WTS method—learned directly on the trading floor in London, where institutional investors use it every day.
Understand the true intentions behind every price movement. The order book (DOM) reveals what traditional indicators hide. A tool for precision, not convenience.
Trading futures contracts using a structured approach, with predefined entry points and strict risk management. Trade for two hours a day, methodically—not frantically.
“I don’t teach trading to sell a pipe dream. I teach it because I’ve seen what individual traders go through when they try to learn on their own using the wrong methods—the losses, the shame, the loss of confidence. What I learned in London, no French-speaking instructor had ever shown me. And that still surprises me today.”
When Erwan first started out, there were no reliable resources in French on Market Profile or order books. Everything he learned, he learned by observing, asking questions, and learning from his mistakes in a real trading floor in London. Years later, realizing that this approach remained virtually unknown in the French-speaking world, the decision became clear: to pass on this system to those who want a solid, proven method.
Many students arrived with a history of setbacks, a loss of confidence, and the feeling that they had been going around in circles for years. Erwan’s belief is simple: a professional method, taught honestly and with genuine support, can save those who commit to it seriously years of trial and error. That’s what WTS is here for.
The truth about trading: it’s difficult and demanding, but it’s possible if you stop looking for shortcuts. I will never tell my students what they want to hear if it doesn’t reflect the reality of the markets.
Follow a method, a framework, and risk parameters—and don’t let emotions dictate your decisions. Rigor isn’t a constraint; it’s what makes the analysis sustainable.
Making a professional world that often seems reserved for banks and institutions more accessible. Erwan started from scratch—WTS is designed so that the only barrier to entry is motivation, not your background.
Don’t settle for average education. Continuously improve teaching methods, tools, and support. Train independent traders who are capable of thinking and making decisions on their own.
World Trading Skool is much more than just a single instructor. It’s a team of experts, each specializing in their own field, dedicated to supporting your progress and providing you with the most comprehensive and supportive experience possible.
